figures come from sources opened and read, mostly government departments, regulators, official schemes and manufacturers, and each guide lists them with the date they were read;
where a guide works something out, it is labelled as a calculation and the inputs are shown;
every guide is fact-checked separately from the writing before it is published;
no guide tells you what you will save, and each one says so when the answer for a home like yours is no.
